Why should I care about heading structure?

Google is blind. It can’t see your beautiful design. It reads the code. Proper headings tell Google what your page is about. Fake headings make your site invisible, and you won’t rank in search engines and language models as well as someone with a better structure.

Is this better than mainstream tools for checking headings?
Yes. It’s instant, visual, and free. Those tools do more, but cost more. Predator does one thing exceptionally well and costs nothing. Add it to your tech stack.

What if nothing lights up?
Your template is using fake headings (styled divs/spans). Google sees it as one wall of text; this could mean you’re not ranking in search engines and AI Search.

Can I use this on competitor sites?

Absolutely. This is one of the best reasons to use it.  See how they structure content. Learn from their mistakes. Do it better.
